Marvel's Age of Ultron Teaser review

I am guilty of being a Huge Marvel fan, so when the Teaser Trailer for the upcoming movie "Age of Ultron" was released on the Marvel Entertainment youtube channel, I was in a state of shock to say the least! The trailer begins with the introduction of the new villain in the movie, Ultron, who happens to be a product of one of the hero's, Tony Stark, inventions. The storyline idea would best be summed up as that Ultron has developed past the point of dependence and is upgrading his AI capabilities in order to cause world-wide chaos and destruction. Ultron is constantly repeating variations of the phrase; "There are no strings on me." this is representing his freedom from the constraints of dependent AI systems. This repetition, coupled with the horrified version of the Pinocchio song; "No Strings", creates a chilling display and soundtrack for the Teaser that will have viewers sitting on the edge of their seats.

The trailer would probably be consistent with the original Avengers trailer in the way that it was very ambiguous in terms of the storyline in the movie. This of course is not new. Many teaser trailers work with this kind of set up and most of the time they turn out to be highly effective, grasping the audiences attention and holding it strongly enough to ensure they will view the final movie.

The return of all the original cast of heroes is another attribute of the teaser that appeals to the audience on a major scale. The addition of new characters in many trailers can be off-putting for some viewers so for that possible reason, the character selection was kept the same, the story depends on the original characters anyway. The original cast for these characters remains unchanged swell. Stars including Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (The Incredible Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Paul Bettany (JARVIS / The Vision), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), James Spader (Ultron), Thomas Kretschmann (Baron Strucker), and Josh Brolin (Thanos).

Director, Joss Wheden, creates a brilliant atmosphere with this Teaser Trailer by revealing barely any of the movie's plot, but instead filling it with action-packed shots an thrilling imagery of all the characters and the threats we can only speculate they will have to face.

With the film due for release in April 2015, the Teaser Trailer was released at the perfect time to give the fans a great sneak peak into the movie while leaving enough time for us to develop a real hunger for the final product.
